Just a quick posting to say THANK YOU!

I have been blog hopping early this morning. And I just wanted to say... THANK YOU!!! I have seen some really awesome posts on public forums helping to explain copyrights and angel policies. I have also seen links back to the articles on this blog. It is people like this who help spread the word, and I wanted to let you know Stamp Out really appreciates that!
Have you been seeing this too?  Let us know where. I think these wonderful people should be recognized.  It is nice to have people doing the right thing and focusing on all the positives!

  3. so I've been reading this site for some time now, and I'm really aghast at people's gall, to be honest. I think I was in la la land where the only people doing anything wrong were simply ignorant. There's a ton of that too, I'm sure,,,,,but the rest really GALLS me.

Anyway, I've put a post on my blog about it, because ultimately,,,,I really think crafters are only biting their nose off to spite their own faces,,,,,

  4. How do you feel about the large number of people pinning digis to pinterest?

  5. Are they pinning the actual digi image or the watermarked version?
Mo, Pinterest is a new online site that people pin things from the internet that they like. For example, I have pictures of antiques, cards I like, food etc

  6. Hi Donna,

I have just had my first look at pinterest -- as long as people are using watermarked images to link back to the artists's pages I (speaking for myself) don't see a problem. But of course if anyone used it to link to ILLEGALLY posted (unwatermarked)copyrighted art for the purpose of downloading that would be a violation. I'll have to have a closer look -- the idea is kind of cool if used correctly. xoMo

  9. I'd love to have your button and add it to our new FREE DIGI challenge blog www.DigiHaven.BlogSpot.com. We recently had an issue on our current fairy challenge that we were able to rectify due to the generosity and thoughtfulness of the artist. Could you please email it to me with the html at DigiHavenDT@Yahoo.com? Thank you so much!

  11. I came here after reading about the issue on Feline Playful. I read angel policies and abide by them. I want to keep informed, as I know policies can change over time and as new technology comes along. I appreciate the artists that can create something great that I can "play" with. You need to be able to make a living from your creations (check out my stamp room and you will see that I am a big contributor to your pocketbooks), and others should not "steal" your work anymore than they should plagierize an author.
